Tips-based walking tour
This tour will not be available until further notice.
It’s what we call our Adelaide free walking tour, a 90-minute orientation where you’ll learn about the history and culture of the South Australian capital. See major landmarks including Parliament House and Adelaide Arcade before finishing at the Adelaide Central Market – an essential Adelaide experience.
This Adelaide tour is taken by local guide/Flamboyance Tours owner Katina – she’s a former Topdeck Travel trip leader, having led tours across more than 20 countries in Europe. She’s now back in Adelaide to showcase her home city to the world!
We don’t call it a ‘free walking tour’ as the concept is called elsewhere because it’s a tour of Adelaide based on tips where you name your own price! You don’t pay up front, but tip what you think the tour was worth at the end.
If you’re unsure of how much to tip, consider that we value this tour privately at $30 per person (see below). We suggest that for your guide’s expertise and the time they take to show you around, a minimum tip of AUD$10-15 per person is appropriate. *Bookings are essential and close shortly before the tour begins. In case of any cancellation, by reserving you will always be notified by the morning of the event by email.
*If there are no bookings by 8am on the day of a tour, we reserve the right to not have a guide present at the meeting point.

*For the months of November to April this tour runs daily. From May to October it runs four days a week. It can be run on the off days at the private walking tour price of $30pp (minimum two people); please contact us to book.
